I'm not really sure but the song is hot and it kind of doesn't matter. I like the whole message of the song about living life freely and letting things flow and that's how I try to live life. Check out the song:

Eastbound and Down and the Super Bowl!!

So the Super Bowl was a big disappointment for about 2 and half hours but it was exciting in the end. In fact the most exciting part of the game was when Al Micheals and John Madden were talking about how much "swag" Ike Taylor has, lol. So now we know that the word "swag" is dead. But hey the game was good in the 4th quarter it ended up being a battle between Santonio Holmes and Larry Fitzgerald and who would've ever thought that Santonio would win that battle. That catch he made was amazing, he was doing his best Micheal Jackson impression in the end zone. So now that's it's over most people will focus on basketball until the Phillies open up Spring Training (because the Phillies won the chip).
So speaking of baseball I have another exciting opportunity for you:

Respect My Conglomerate

Yo yo yo good people I'm finally back on the scene. I kno you haven't heard from me in awhile but hey it's cold as shit outside, it's hibernating time. Since I am back now I think it's only right we talk about some current events and I'm a person that loves music and I want to put you on to a new song I like. It's called "Respect my Conglomerate". The reason I like this song should be obvious after all I am attempting to build an empire someday. This song is by Busta Rhymes on his upcoming album and it feature Young Jeezy and Jadakiss.

The thing about this song is that probably for the first time on this blog I am writing about something I'm not promoting. I am not promoting this soing or this album but I like the song and I think it has infinite remix potential. This will become a boss' anthem so to speak and everybody with a crew will be saying "respect my conglomerate", and how can you blame them. The beat is hot and the concept is hot. I think Busta's verse was aight, Jeezy's was so so, but Jada's was hot, and though I'm a Jada fan I think there should be some artists on this song that have a relevant conglomerate (Jeezy's the only one that really does) . So I expect to see that happen with remixes, expect to see somebody like T.I. or 50 Cent or even Jay-Z to spit some bars over this song. I do like the song how it is however, and I think if the right people show up on a remix it will be even better.

That's it for the song but you know I can't leave you without promoting something so I want to thank everyone who attended the Flight of the Choncords Season 2 release party. Flight of the Choncords is a hilarious show and it is now in Season 2, so check it out on HBO Sunday nights @ 10pm.

Also I have something brewing so get ready to be taken higher by Cloud 9, peace and oh yea Respect My Conglomerate!!

Playoffs I'm Talking about Playoffs?!?!?!

Hello ppl, it's SeanJohn McCloud checkin in from the Blackberry. Today's lesson is about, naw I'm just kidding lol even though you will learn something from this post. It's a playoff weekend once again, so you know what that means...Yep I was parked in front of the big screen all day seeing who will advance next. I mean today wasn't the big day, tomorrow is when the good old Iggles play, but I am a big football fan so I watch all the games. Shout out to the Cardinals who handled biz like I thought they would.

Now onto other matters some friends of mine saw the Unborn this weekend and said it was trash. Now I don't want to be bias I mean I do work for the distribution company of the movie Rogue Pictures (owned by Universal Pictures). I mean I don't want to believe this movie is bad but hey it is possible. The trailer is really good and captivating, as it should be. That is the actual job of a trailer to get the audience interested enough in the movie to spend that $10 on it. So hey maybe the trailer contains the best parts of the movie. One movie that I hope is not like that is Notorious.

To be honest when I heard they were making a movie about Biggie I thought it was dumb. I mean I didn't think the idea was dumb but I thought they wouldn't b able to pull it off properly. When I heard Derek Luke was playing Diddy I thought it would be even worse. But when I saw the trailer I was impressed. Again it could be that the trailer is doing it's job making the consumer want to see the whole movie. I think it got me, the Diddy casting (and Angela Bassett as Voletta Wallace, she has no accent, smh) it looks good. I watched a Biggie documentary the other day and it was perfectly timed. It made me want to see Notorious right then. So here is my endorsement for Notorious even thought I work Universal Pictures.

This is a short post ppl just so you know I'm still here. Definitely check out the Eagles beat the Giants in a dogfight. Also when you get a moment check out my man K'NAAN, you'll definitely hear more from him soon, that ABC's track is hot. Also look out for me world, I'ma do some traveling this week in the great city of Philadelphia so hey you might just see me. Also you definitely have to be at the 941 Theater this Thursday for the Flight of the Choncords party check out the previous post for details.

Goodnite world and watch me as a I Advertise the World...

Magazines

What's goin on good people, it's Sloud Sean McCloud here checkin in from the Blackberry once again. I'm today and I finally copped the Feb issue of Men's Health, trying to get my healthy on. I'm actually an avid magazine reader, especially Men's Health.

Speaking of magazines a friend of mine Stan Mitchell will have his clothing line profiled in a magazine, Foundation magazine to be exact. It goes on newsstands Jan 13th (a few says b4 the FOTC party c u there). Go to foundationmag.com more details on that. I love the Art&Sex&Money line (u've probly seen me in a shirt) so look out for those on campus this Spring. Go to Artsexmoney.com to order your tee.

Still on that magazine tip, we all know I have a million jobs, (hey u gotta pay th bills) and one of my employers runs a magazine. That's right Cornerstone Promotion runs a mag called Fader. You saw it if you went to the Nas concert this past September. This magazine was also Kanye's first mag cover way back when.
Now onto someone I hope to see in a magazine one day, Temple's own Aime. See I'm a hip hop fan all types and I like people that work hard even more. Aime personifies both of those and the best thing about it is that he stays true to himself. He's not afraid to rep NY and also the Poconos, both places he grew up. I routinely bang his Aime to the Sky mixtape (sadly I can't find my hard copy, damn!) Which contains remixes of popular songs and also his own originals. Check him out on every digital promotional outlet there is and don't be surprised when he makes it to a magazine cover.

Speaking of real hip-hop I have to mention an artist I promote, K'NAAN. Many of you might not have heard of him but you've probably heard him. Before I had the job I had now I was playing Madden 09 and noticed a song called ABC's and rocked to it everytime it played. Got my present job and the project and still didn't connect the dots right away. But it didn't take long for me to connect those dots and listen to his message. I love the song ABC's and what K'NAAN is putting forth for his upcoming album TROUBADOR. Look out for it because I'll be promoting it. Again he's a person true to his roots, Somalia, and I definitely respect that. Search him up on google or ask me about him, he reminds me of Will.I.am when he spits, really smooth flow.

But that's it for tonite folks and watch me as I Advertise The World...
